TechChange is an educational technology social enterprise based in Washington, DC. Pursuing a mandate of tech training for social change, we have trained over 4,000 students in 107 countries in best practices for technology-enabled development. TechChange works with a wide variety of partners in the ICT for Development space, including government agencies, international development organizations and technology firms.
Founded in 2010, TechChange leverages a diverse team of educators, technologists, and designers to create a platform that facilitates online learning and virtual exchanges. Drawing from five years of experience, we specialize in bringing new advances in online education – including human-centered design, interactive design, optimization for internet bandwidth, and mobile distribution – to the field of international development. TechChange has or is currently creating online courses for partners that include the Global Reading Network, World Bank, USAID, International Youth Foundation, and Malaria Consortium on topics ranging from Literacy to NGO Management, to Mobile Money, to Advocacy.
